RQC pricing
- RQC is free to use for most user groups:
authors, conferences, editors, organizers, publisherpersons,
receiptreceivers, research institutions, reviewers, RQGuardians, and visitors.
- The only group that has to pay anything is Publishers.
- Publishers pay a fee for each receipt issued by one of their journals,
except for journals that are free:
- Diamond Open Access journals are free.
- Low-fee Gold Open Access journals are free.
- Other Open Access journals and all subscription journals require the fee.
- Even for them, the incomplete first calendar year in which a journal uses RQC is free.
- In Demo Mode, all data are considered virtual (not real) and therefore all
demo mode Journals are free as well.
As long as RQC is operated by the university, the fee is zero.
Once the traffic at RQC gets too high, the RQC service will be split off
into a company and a non-zero fee (payable in EUR) will be set.
The fee is the same in all cases, there are no rebates or discounts.
